For the issuance of a driving permit, in certain cases not only an examination by a general practitioner is required, but also by an ophthalmologist. This examination includes, among other things, a vision test, an examination for strabismus, an examination of both eyes for organic diseases, a visual field examination, as well as a test of twilight vision.

Eyeglass wearers and contact lens wearers: Please bring your glasses or contact lenses as well as the certificate of your glasses prescription / contact lens prescription and type from your optician.
